Built for athletes who lose sodium fast.

A 345mg precision-dosed sodium capsule. Taken with any fluid. Adjusted for your physiology — not the average.

New to Lytework?

The capsule isn't new.
The system around it is.

Lytework was built by an Australian endurance coach and a network of competitive athletes who lose sodium at radically different rates. So we built something that adapts.

Sodium, separated from your drink.

Dose by session, not by serve. Adjust for heat, not for taste. Stack what you need — capsule by capsule.

Sodium-loss variability between athletes

Tested in heat. In racing. In ride hours that count.

Every result below is from a real athlete using Lytework in real conditions. Distance, time, temperature, and dose protocol included. No incentivised reviews. Field testing is ongoing.

235 km 8h 42m 15–22°C

"I stopped cramping mid-race for the first time. Dosing based on conditions rather than a fixed serve size changed everything."

105 km 4h 05m 32°C

"Zero GI issues and easy to use mid-session. Simple product, but a big upgrade for performance and consistency."

100 km 3h 10m 20–28°C

"No flavour fatigue is a real thing. After three hours of training I could still take these — something I couldn't do with electrolyte drinks."

Founder Jonny Sammut

"I raced Ironman Malaysia as a professional and fell apart at hour three. Not from lack of fitness. From sodium."

Lytework was founded by Jonny Sammut, a former Australian representative triathlete and head coach to more than 150 endurance athletes through Ogging. The product exists because the one he needed — as athlete, then as coach — did not.

The capsule format isn't a gimmick. It's the only honest answer to a problem the industry has refused to acknowledge: athletes lose sodium at radically different rates, and a one-dose drink mix cannot serve all of them.

Sodium is one variable. Hydration is another. They should be dosed separately.

Most products lock sodium into the drink. One formula, one dose, regardless of your sweat rate, the heat, or how long you're out. Lytework starts from the opposite premise.

Traditional hydration

  • Sodium locked into every serve
  • Fixed dose, no adjustment for heat
  • Based on average assumptions
  • Adjusting sodium means changing fluid

The Lytework system

  • Sodium separated from fluid
  • Dose per session, not per bottle
  • Built around individual physiology
  • Works alongside any fuel strategy
